I posted this video on Myspace one day, but then it hit me that this could be related to the Bible.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Clearly the guy in this commercial is crazy for trusting a little gecko to catch him. Just think though if you are ever going to fall, don't you want to fall into the big arms of an awesome God. That is what I want to do and I know God will catch me. The devil he tries so hard to keep me from trusting God. Just today I was telling my mom how hard I've prayed for some people but I'm starting to think God isn't doing anything. This is what the devil wants me to do, stop trusting God. I know even if I may not see it now God is working and even if he may not answer the prayers the way I want him to, I know he still wants me to say I will trust him and serve him no matter what.

It's funny - I just saw that commercial for the first time this evening. Funny commercial - but you brought out a crucial point - falling into the arms of God. I certainly know that God will ALWAYS catch me when I fall into His arms. I can trust God. I understand the battle with trust and God has been ever so patient with me as He's continued to teach me about trust and casting out fear.
