Jesus Saves

I wanted to post this yesterday with the last post for "When I Survey The Wondrous Cross," but needless to say my brain forgot. So here it is today.

JESUS SAVES

Every drop of blood that touched the ground
Cried Jesus saves, Jesus saves
A world of sin rejoiced to hear the sound
Jesus saves, Jesus saves
Even the sword that pierced His side
Cried Jesus saves, Jesus saves
The message of His arms stretched open wide
Cried Jesus saves, Jesus saves

Chorus
Hallelujah, I'm redeemed
I've been pardoned, full and free
All because the blood still sings
Jesus saves, Jesus saves

All the host of heaven now proclaims
Jesus saves, Jesus saves
And in the book of life beside my name
Is Jesus saves, Jesus saves

Chorus
Hallelujah, I'm redeemed
I've been pardoned, full and free
All because the blood still sings
Jesus saves, Jesus saves

Jesus saves, Jesus saves
Jesus saves, Jesus saves

We have heard the joyful sound
Jesus saves, Jesus saves
Spread the tidings all around
Jesus saves, Jesus saves
Hallelujah, I'm redeemed
Jesus saves, Jesus saves

Love those words!! I don't know that I've heard that one. Is it an old hymn?

Amen, one of my favorite hymns. The new sounds miss so much of the depth that the old songs have.

Thanks for sharing those wonderful words.
