Are You A Leaning Tower???

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. Proverbs 3:5

Yesterday I talked a little about The Leaning Tower of Pisa. Today I want to bring out how The Leaning Tower of Pisa reminds me of people today. If we look through spiritual eyes at the tower we could see someone that has leaned to their own understanding. They might have put their trust in a person or what the world has to offer. As of right now that person that is representing a leaning tower will eventually fall. That is why we need to trust in God and not man.

Psalm 118:8 says this...

It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. Psalm 118:8

i believe you are right. today more and more Christians are "leaning". Maybe it's because they have a lopsided foundation, meaning that while they might be saved, they really don't know what they believe or why they believe it, they hav'nt built their foundation on the Word of God. I dont know..

Great post, Starla! Many Christians aren't digging deep into the Word and discovering what God has to say to them.

They are taking what others say at face value, instead of searching the scriptures for themselves.
