Vessel of Honor

Vessel Of Honor

A vessel of honor, I'm longing to be.
As clay to the potter, may I be to thee.
You may have to break down resistance at times.
But Lord, don't stop molding and shaping my life.

Shape me dear Father, please make me like you.
Mold me completely, so I can be true.
And if you have to break me, may I understand.
Your still loving and holding my life in your hand.

It would be such disservice, results would be nill.
If clay rejects the potter and seeks its own will.
It could only be cast out to the old Potter's field.
Please don't cast me out Master, put me back on your wheel.

Shape me dear Father, please make me like you.
Mold me completely, so I can be true.
And if you have to break me, may I understand.
Your still loving and holding my life in your hand.

And if you have to break me, may I understand.
Your still loving and holding my life in your hand.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Beautiful poem. I pray that I stay on the wheel and let the Father mold me.
Blessings in Christ-

Starla, what a beautiful poem. It brought to mind a beautiful song that a girl sings at church. I found a link where you can hear that song....It's called He Didn't Throw The Clay Away.
